My Bio Poem

We have been learning about poetry with Mrs B and Mrs Craig. We wrote some bio poems. Here is mine.

I corrected my spelling so now they make sense.

  “Finally'' I’m there I’m in Auckland. I went to Auckland to see my dad and his girlfriend.

When

Were/What

I stayed in Glen field. Glen field is cool because

it has pools called Glen field pools.

I went down to Auckland to see my dad because

he is going to move to Australia.

In Auckland the weather

was nice and hot so we

could have a swim in the pool.

My Dad Works at Carpet Court and his girlfriend  

works at countdown.

My Dad’s  name is Jeff and his

girlfriends name is Sara

My Dad was so happy I told my mum that

I was going to stay a little longer to make him happier

because my Dad

has missed me , Eternity , Johnny.

mum had Johnny and Eternity for Christmas.  

Conclusion

I had a good time in Auckland it made me feel

like Auckland is my home. I  love Auckland so much.

The pelican

Poem

A funny old bird is the pelican

Its beak can hold more than its belly can

Pelicans are seabirds which
survive by scooping up  fish
with their large beaks.
